Stories about Sailor Mercury

Sailor Mercury is the brains of the Inner Senshi. She represents the Japanese element of water. Her VR Visor and Lunar Computer allow her to identify weaknesses in enemies and come up with plans of attack. Her powers are mostly defensive, often in the form of fog covering the battlefield. She has an IQ of 300, is a straight-A student, but socially awkward as she spends her most of her waking moments reading books.

Ripples (24k) by Laura Hudson

The always insecure Ami receives an unexpected gift. This is a story about despair and the human spirit.

A Tokyo Senshi in Queen Rei's Court (255k) by John Biles

A magnificent achievement, this scholarly epic transports our blue-haired heroine to a time familiar to us - with a twist. If you like it, please drop John Biles a line. Better yet, go check out a host more of his fanfics at Bailesu's Fiction Page

Symphony of the Planets: Mercury (23k) by John Biles

This story, but for the luck of the draw, could have happened to Ami instead of her friend, a fact of which she is well aware. This is one of five stories (each centered around one of the five Inner Senshi) all taking place simultaneously. Each is complete in itself, yet intertwined with the others. All five can be found in one place on the Inner Senshi page. If you like it, please drop John Biles a line, then check out his fanfiction page at Bailesu's Fiction Page

Urges (26k) by Richard Lawson

A different side of Ami. I'm not sure if I completely agree with the characterization, but it is interesting. Please tell Richard what you think of it. You may wish to drop by his website, Richard Lawson's Fanfics

The Pictures She Painted (27k) by Becky Goldstein

Both parents contributed towards Ami; we see that here in a loving portrait of a girl on the edge of maturity.

Reflections: Mizuno Ami (1k) by Ross TenEyck

The poem that first attracted me to Ross' work. I think he has distilled Ami to a vapor and bottled it. If you liked it, let Ross know. He has written more poems. All can be found on his webpage, Ross TenEyck's Oracular Home Page.

Domesticated Demons (55k) by Victor Naqvi

Ami and Urawa forge their own special friendship, despite the personal demons both are hiding. This story contains some scenes of explicit sexuality, and may be disturbing to some readers.

What Evil Lurks (360k) by Greg Taylor

Ami gets caught in a dilemma that not even her brains may be able to solve. Now the fate of the universe hangs on a frail relationship between two people who have never met!

Love Letter: From the Desk of Ami Mizuno (29k) by Victor Naqvi

When she puts her mind to it, there is no subject Ami can't overcome - or is there?. Ami's most difficult task is not helped by her friends' well-meaning advice. For a depressed guy, Victor can sure write some inspiring stories.

The Babe Wore Blue (220k) by Mark Latus

Set in Crystal Tokyo. Sailor Mercury must distastefully hire a private detective. While the story is about Magnesite, I liked the portrayal of Ami. There have been more stories written about Magnesite. They can all be found at Sailor Moon Expanded Home Page.

The Other Half (15k) by +Gradient

+Gradient's Mercury story...quite different. +Gradient now has his own website, Gradient's Page of Silly Analogies & SM Fanfics.

Reality (2k) by Jelynne

How does Ami's scientific mind deal with the existance of magic? This story might have an answer. You can find more of Jelynne's work on Jelynne's Little Mess.

Triple Point (28k) by +Gradient

A wonderful Ami story about choices and consequences. You can find more of +Gradient's stories on his site Gradient's Page of Silly Analogies & SM Fanfics.

Human Voices (39K) by John Hitchens

Ami's schedule seldom meshes with her mother's, but a tragic event forces both to rethink priorities. Be sure to e-mail John to tell him what you thought of it.
