Stories Set Before the First Season

The characters in Sailor Moon did not jump out of nowhere. They all have a history. These stories try to fill in the space between the births of the senshi and their appearances in the show.

Awakening - Part 1 (192k) by Tim Nolan

Tim sets up what Minako was doing before she met the rest of the senshi. Set in England, it has strong Arthurian overtones. If you liked it, please e-mail Tim. He has written three sequels, equally as good, which should be read in this order:
Awakening - Part 2
Obligations
The End of the Beginning

Awakening - Part 2 (156k) by Tim Nolan

A sequel to Awakening - Part 1, it runs concurrently with that story, focusing on the Outer Senshi's actions about six months prior to the first season. His later stories in the sequence are:
Obligations
The End of the Beginning
