Title: Zoycite's Story
Part: Nine
Rating: PG
======================================================================
Well, my New Year's resolution is not to leave as many cliff hangers
as I have in the past. I'm really sorry if I've annoyed any of you! ^_^
I want to take this oppertunity to thank all you guys for reading and
e-mailing me. It makes this worth while. My address is the same,
Zoycite111@hotmail.com. Enjoy part nine! ^_^
======================================================================
Disclaimer: I do not own Zoycite or any other character in Sailor Moon.
This story is from my own imagination and is my own work. However, I
would like to own Malachite...or Prince Diamond...(life's so unfair!)
======================================================================
Last time: Part eight was Malachite's account of how Nephrite came to
the NegaVerse. In order to save space, I won't retell it. If you missed
part eight, I suggest you read it! ^_^ Anyways, at the end, Malachite
finally (finally!!!) reveals his true feelings for Zoycite, however,
she is somewhat skeptical. Part eight ended with Malachite saying he
feels as if he has know Zoycite even before they met...

Zoycite and Malachite continued to sit under the cherry blossom
tree in the park. Zoycite continued to relay the conversation of the past
ten minutes in her head.
~Zoycite: He said he never experience love until he met me. If
that's the case, then why did he act so strange when I kissed him all
those months ago? I must admit that I am attracted to him, but this
doesn't make any sense...~
"Zoycite, did you hear what I said?" asked Malachite, bringing
Zoycite's thoughts back to the present.
"Sorry, I didn't. My mind must have wandered..." Zoycite trailed
off.
"That's ok. What I asked was if you knew what I went through to
find you." repeated Malachite.
"No. What? It couldn't have been that bad!" answered Zoycite.
"Well, I went to Nephrite for help, since he was the one who
found you and brought you to the NegaVerse." said Malachite.
"You did WHAT!?" exclaimed a shocked Zoycite.
"I said I went to Nephrite for help. Do I have to repeat
everything I say?" asked Malachite coolly.
"I'm sorry, don't get angry with me, Malachite." answered Zoycite
as she hung her head in shame. "It's just that I can't believe you went
to the general you hate the most, and asked for his help. Boy! He must
have been surprised!"
"That he was." Malachite said, nodding his head in agreement with
Zoycite. "But he was very helpful after I explained the situation. It
seems he was worried about you..."
"So?" Zoycite said quickly. "Can't other people worry about me?"
"Hey! Don't get so offensive! I wasn't accusing anyone of
anything." said Malachite trying to cool Zoycite's temper down. "But, as
I was leaving, he said something very interesting to me."
"What's that?"
"He asked if I had any feelings for you."
"Well, obviously he made an astute observation. What did you tell
him?" asked Zoycite.
"I told him the truth. At that point in time I didn't know. But,
his question got me thinking. And, the more I thought about it, the more
I thought that I did have feelings for you. Then, when I arrived here,
something happened to me. I can't explain it. I just realized that I did
have feelings for you." replied Malachite.
"Well, that's probably the nicest thing anyone has ever told me."
Zoycite said as she began to blush.
"I'm glad. But, would you give me time? This 'love' thing is very
new to me. It's strange...yet it feels so familiar...and it feels so
right..." said Malachite as he trailed off.
"I will Malachite. But what you said about all of this being
familiar, I totally agree with you. I have this feeling that event though
I just met you, I have known you all my life, or longer. Could it be
possible that we knew each other in a past life? I'm not necessarily
talking reincarnation, but..." Zoycite started, but was unable to finish
her sentence.
"No, I know what you're talking about!" exclaimed Malachite. "And
I know just the place to find out this information, although it may take
a long time to find what we're looking for."
"Where?" asked Zoycite.
"The Dark Kingdom Library just might have what we're looking for."
"We have a library? Why didn't you tell me!" exclaimed Zoycite. "I
just love libraries. And books, too. I love Poe and Shakespeare the best!"
"Sorry, Zoey-"
"Zoey!" interrupted Zoycite. "Why did you call me that?"
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to, Zoycite." answered Malachite with
emphasis on the word Zoycite.
"That's ok, you can call me whatever you want." Malachite smiled
in reply. "As long as I can call you Mal." said Zoycite shyly.
"You can. So, as I was saying, I'm sorry, but our library doesn't
have that kind of books. The books we have are mainly history and magic
books. However, those spells are too advanced for you. But, in a couple
of years..." Malachite trailed off, wondering if he said the right thing.
Unfortunately, he didn't.
"Who says they're too advanced for me!" exclaimed a furious
Zoycite.
"I'm not saying they're too advanced." said Malachite, trying to
cover his blunder quickly. "It's just--"
"Just what?" Zoycite interrupted.
"It's just that you need to learn a little more, before I can
show you the spells. They're written in one of the dead languages."
"What language is it?" inquired Zoycite.
"Latin."
"Really?? I took five years of Latin in high school." said Zoycite.
"Well, then maybe I will show you the books." replied Malachite.
"Anyways, we have more important things to do..."
"Like go to this library." Zoycite said, finishing Malachite's
sentence.
Zoycite went to stand up to stretch her legs and teleport back to
the Dark Kingdom, when she realized she was being pulled back down to the
ground.
"What are you doing? I thought we had to get to the library.
Besides, Queen Beryl would blow about ten gaskets if she knew we were on
Earth and didn't collect any of her 'precious energy'." said Zoycite
sarcastically.
"I know, I know. But there's something I've been meaning to give
you." Malachite said slowly, almost as if he was struggling with the words.
"There's nothing you can give me. I can conjure whatever-"
But Zoycite couldn't finish her sentence. And how could she?
Malachite was kissing her. When they finally pulled apart, Zoycite stared
at Malachite in disbelief.
"Malachite, I don't understand." said a quite shaken Zoycite.
"Neither do I." replied Malachite. "But there's something I want
you to know."
"What's that?" asked Zoycite.
"I just want you to know that I wasn't upset when you kissed me
all those months ago."
"Then why did you act as if you were?" asked Zoycite.
"I acted upset because that type of behavior is looked down upon
in the NegaVerse. In fact, Beryl will put anyone who shows any affections
towards another person in an eternal sleep." replied Malachite.
"Ok. I understand. But Malachite, do you think this is wise?"
"No, but I don't care either."
Malachite kissed Zoycite again, and she returned the kiss. They
stayed that way until that familiar voice interrupted them again.
"ZOYCITE!! MALACHITE!! WHERE ARE YOU TWO!?!?!?!?"
"I swear she has a seventh sense." said Zoycite, shaking her head.
"I agree. Well, let's see how mad she is this time." replied
Malachite as he put his arm around Zoycite. "When we go back to see what
Beryl wants this time, we must act as if none of this has happened. She
musn't know about our relationship. Once she's finished her bitching, we
will head over to the library and see what we can see."
"Sounds like a plan." said Zoycite.
And with that the two generals disappeared. The only thing that
remained were Zoycite's cherry blossom petals.
