Title: Zoycite's Story Part: Eight Rating: PG ====================================================================== Well, the first story of the 21st century! I hope everyone survived Y2K! (he, he, he!) Anyways, I want to thank everyone for reading. I also want to mention Julie-chan. I don't know why, I just did. ^_^ Anyways, here comes part eight.^_^ As always, thanks for reading! Also, please e-mail me! My address is Zoycite111@hotmail.com. Thanks to those who have written! Enjoy! ^_^ ====================================================================== Disclaimer: I do not own Zoycite or any other character in Sailor Moon. This story is from my own imagination and is my own work. However, I would like to own Malachite...or Prince Diamond...(life's so unfair!) ====================================================================== Last time: Malachite was looking around for Zoycite, but he couldn't find her anywhere. After returning to her room, Malachite found a note on Zoycite's bed addresed to him. It said she was in the Earth Realm, under her cherry blosssom tree. Malachite has no idea where this is, so he consults Nephrite, much against his will. After disclosing where the tree is located, Nephrite asks Malachite if he has any feelings for Zoycite. Malachite ponders this thought as he departs for the park. He finds her, and goes to sit down next to her. However, he sees a shower of cherry blossom petals, and a change occurs in Malachite. A change for the better... ====================================================================== "Malachite, is there something wrong?" asked Zoycite with a concerned look on her face. "No, nothing is wrong, Zoycite." replied Malachite, trying to shake off the feeling he had a few moments ago. "I was just thinking about Nephrite's story." "Well?" asked Zoycite with a hint of annoyance in her voice. "Well nothing. Now, Nephrite's story is the saddest of them all." began Malahcite. "Like Jedite, Nephrite was taken at a very young age. However, myself and you, for some reason, were taken at the age of twenty. I have no clue why. It must have taken Beryl longer to find us. Anyways, Nephrite was a two-year-old when Queen Beryl located him. Back then he was known as Ned. I still find it a strange name. "Nephrite's mother was sitting on a park bench watching litte Ned play on the swings. Then, Queen Beryl, in all her glory, appeared. Ned's mother Sako ran over to and tried to stop Queen Beryl. But, once Beryl has an idea to do something, she won't stop until she has completed her task. However, Sako had other intentions. There was no way her child would be taken by this strange red-haired woman. "Well, Sako foolishly fought Queen Beryl. As I am told, she put up one hell of a fight. Well, to make a long story short..." "Too late." inturrupted Zoycite. "Don't inturrupt me!" replied a very peeved Malachite. "Sorry. I couldn't resist." Zoycite said sheepishly. "It's a line from one of my favorite movies, 'Clue'." "Fine. Just don't inturrupt me again. Where was I? Oh, I remember! Eventually, Queen Beryl over-powered Sako and killed her. Beryl took a crying Ned, now named Nephrite, back to the NegaVerse. Beryl, along with brainwashing him, she sped up time to turn Nephrite into a twenty-year-old, instead on a two-year-old. I will add here that once you come here, you remain the same age forever. So, that means, Zoycite, that you will be twenty forever." "Damn! That means I will never hit the drinking age." exclaimed Zoycite. "We don't have a drinking age in the NegaVerse." "Oh." repled an embarrased Zoycite. "Now, can I finish the story?" asked Malachite. "There's more?" "Yes." "Then please continue." replied Zoycite as she moved over and put her head on Malachite's shoulder without realizing it. Malachite looked at Zoycite and was about to say something, but he held his tongue. It was a nice feeling, Zoycite leaning against him. "Anyways," continued Malachite, "Pulled Nephrite out of the brainwashing chamber, assuming that he had no memories of his past, and that she was free to mold him into the general she desired. But, like all things Beryl attemts to do, this didn't work out the way she planned. "Nephrite had retained all memories of his life on Earth, and the death of his mother. Sako's death hit Nephrite very hard, and he fell into depression. Then Jadeite arrived. "Queen Beryl had found the third general and returned him to her rule. I was already in the Dark Kingdom, so I had the job of training both Jadeite and Nephrite, and now you. "Anyways, Nephrite and Jadeite hit it off really well. They became good friend, for they were able to find comfort in each other, since both their mothers were killed in Beryl's attempt to get them back. I found Nephrite very arrogant, but orders are orders..." Malachite trailed off. "Wow. I can see why Nephrite got so upset at Jadeite's death, and when I mentioned his previous life. How did you come to the Dark Kingdom?" asked Zoycite. "But, you don't have to if it's too painful." "That's ok. My parents weren't killed when Beryl found me. Actually, I was working, but I can't remember where...It's been so long. For some reason, when Queen Beryl brainwashed me, it worked. I don't remember anything from my previous life on earth. "Since I was the first one found, I guess I'm the most powerful. But, for just comming here, your powers are equal to Nephrite's, and he's been here for a very long time." replied Malachite. The two remained silent for a while. Then Zoycite realized she had been resting her head on Malachite's shoulder for the entire story. She quickly pulled her head up. Everything was going so well between them, and she didn't want to blow it now. "I'm sorry Malachite!" apologized Zoycite. "I didn't realize..." "That's ok. You can put your head back, that is, if you want to." replied Malachite. Zoycite wanted to, for she still was in love with this general. "You know, you're very lucky." Malachite said thoughtfully. "Why's that?" "Well, Queen Beryl brainwashed you, but you still have all your memories of Earth. Yous still remember everything, even those 'emotions' you mentioned earlier. I believe you called it...love?" Malachite said slowly. "Yes. That's right. But why did you bring up that emotion? There are many more you could have chosen, like happiness, saddness..." Zoycite trailed off. "I know, but I want to know what love is. Would you explain it to me?" Malachite asked hopefully. "Well, love is...why bother to explain it? You have no memory of living on Earth. But, if you want to know, love is a deep devotion or affection for another person." replied Zoycite. "Ok, then everything makes sense." "What makes sense?" asked a confused Zoycite. "Why I never experienced love until I met you." replied Malachite. "WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!?!?" exclaimed Zoycite. "Would you run that by me again??" "I said 'I never experienced love until I met you." "That's what I thought you said. But, all I gave you was a description of what love was. If you don't remember experiencing love, how do you know that you've experienced love with me?" asked Zoycite critically. "Well, I don't." "That's what I thought." "Let me finish. What I was about to say, was I haven't, but something about this seems so right. Like, I knew you a long time ago..." ====================================================================== Well, that's it for the eighth installment of Zoycite's story. I'm sorry to keep leaving you guys with cliffhangers, but these parts would be HUGE! So, I decided to end it there. Anyways, I should have part nine out by next week.
