The gist of it is that you steal an egg from the dragon's cave and try to raise it. This often calls for fast reflexes and the patience of Job if you want a "rare" dragon. Then you get to annoy friends, family, and forumgoers with your pixel adoptee until it grows up. Or dies. They do die, you know...

All of my dragonlings are given the surname Phoenix; this isn't registered or anything, and I realize most likely other people use it too. No hard feelings if we're Phoenix broods in spirit if not pixel genetics, eh?
