Custom Sketches and Drawings
Daisy Pink
Daisy was a custom idea I drew for PJ. I don't believe she knew I was going to make her a custom pony to go with the picture, though!
Outline drawn in ink; colored in PSP9.
Calico Kitty
This is how the Calico Kitty custom was supposed to turn out. The pimp daddy look suits the Succubus' pony better though...
Outline drawn in ink; colored in PSP9.
Autumn Rose
Another custom sketch. Of the three, this one came out closest to how the pony actually turned out when customized. Not happy with this drawing, though.
Outline drawn in ink; colored in PSP9.
Chromatone
Another sketch for a pony I made for the Succubus. This one ended up much closer to the finished product than Calico Kitty.
Outline drawn in ink; colored in PSP9.
Khamsin
This is my post-facto "sketch" of Khamsin, my persona pony. I had originally intended only a symbol on the butt, not a whole body TAF design, so my real sketch is useless. I stole some Hasbro lineart for this one.
Pepperberry
PJ was having a bad day, so I drew her a picture of Pepperberry on my lunch hour. I intended to make it so she could use it as an icon for LJ, but I didn't think it looked good enough reduced. *shrugs*
Drawn entirely in PSP9.
ATC Work
RoseRebellion's First Swap
Starhopper
Sunspot
Stardancer and Napper
Sky Rocket
Twinkler
This was the first ATC swap hosted on the MLPTP, and I was lucky enough to join in the intermediate category to start. All ponies in colored pencil with metallic hair highlights; background is wrapping paper with construction paper border.
Malinky's Postcard Swap
Cloud Puff and the Golden Horseshoes
Cloud Puff and the Giant Flowers
Cloud Puff and the Frog Prince
Cloud Puff and the Golden Apples
Somewhere over the Rainbow
Malinky hosted an ATC postcard swap which I participated in as well. Unfortunately, the swap never happened and I only have the images of the first four saved since I scanned them. The last card is one I kept for myself. All cards are acrylic paint with pen accents.
Things With Wings
Fronts
Backs
For RoseRebellion's swap "Things with Wings." You will note they are numbered for five. My personal card? Is not finished. Heh! All cards are marker with paper collage. Prints of these with new accent glitter were sent to WildWrangler as make up cards from the winter swap.
Fall Swap
Apple Spice
Abracadabra
Applejack
Gusty
Posey
For ParadisePalms' fall swap. Cards are pen with watercolor.
Halloween Swap
Rarity's Pumpkin Patch
For RoseRebellion's Halloween swap. My other completed cards were damaged by a pet accident, so only Rarity was used. Each person in the swap received a print with personalized accents. Rarity was watercolor with marker outlining.
Carnival Swap
Carnival Set One
Carnival Set Two
Carnival Set Three
For ParadisePalm's swap. All cards are pen sketches with watercolor.
Spring Swap
For ParadisePalm's Spring/Easter/St. Patty's Day swap. All cards are pen sketches with watercolor and marker accents and some papercraft items as accents.
Valentine Swap
For ParadisePalm's swap. All cards are pen and watercolor sketches with a lacy overwrap sheet and pretty tissue paper backgrounds.
Super Sunny Summer Swap
Majesty, Windy, and Bonnie Bonnets
Emberly, Baby Blossom, Waverunner, and Dancing Butterflies
Sunlight, Bumblesweet, Sea Princess, and Pearly Princess
For ParadisePalm's swap. All cards are pen sketches, colored pencil and pen accents, paper backgrounds, and rhinestone/confetti accents. Cards are also dusted with PearlEX Powder for extra shine on some accent areas.
Fall/Winter Swap
Covers One
Covers Two
Insides One
Insides Two
For ParadisePalm's swap. The cards fold into booklets and easily fit in a card holder. Images are pen sketches with watercolor.
Whippet's Postcard Swap
I was selected to make a card for Mirakat in a surprise swap. She listed her favorite ponies as Gusty, North Star, and Emberly, so that's who she got on her card. I displayed my art in the thread before I put her name on it, so this is not the "final" product, but the ponies, at least, are finished. Background is stamped paper; ponies are colored in marker.
Costumes to Christmas Swap
I ran a Halloween swap which was unfortunately delayed almost to Christmas. To make up for the tardiness, I drew a little tongue-in-cheek piece for all the participants. Art was computer generated, then printed out and colored with markers and accented with pearly powder and stickers.
February and March 2010 Swaps
Cherry Swap
Flowering Trees Swap
Victorian Valentine Swap
I created these as bonus cards for the swap I ran at the MLPTP. The Cherry cards are digital, the Flowering Trees are ink, and the Valentines are ink and marker with various accent materials.
Photos
Sunlight and Starshine
I got both of these ponies from a lot of bait. This picture was snapped right after I finished rehairing Starshine, but hadn't even cleaned Sunlight yet. (The Sunlight was rehaired later, no worries!)
Gypsy's New 'Do
I felt so bad when I pulled her out and snapped this "before" photo. Her hair literally disintigrated on the ride over from England. That's okay, though...I can rehair.
Sunlight Family
Those DG fakes are too awesome! This is the same Sunlight as above, rehaired, and her newborn. Guess she got knocked up on the road...to my house. *chuckles*
There's a Posey in My Garden
This Posey cleaned up so nicely I had to take a picture of her.
